Providing students experiences beyond the walls of the classroom is vital, as they provide a different perspective and help them to enhance their skills.Kavery School provides various activities to provide knowledge and learning through various forms.

Kids carnival

An annual event in which the team raise money through fun filled activities during the day and all the proceeds go to charity.

Assembly

Weekly class assemblies are a myriad of talent.The class teachers take immense responsibility in bringing out the potential of every child.

Scholar Badge Ceremony

An annual feature is the Scholar Badge Ceremony, which is held for every class. At this ceremony, the academic and other achievements of our students are rewarded.

Field Trip

At kavery school, we encourage our children to cheer and experience from the surrounding world. Field trips are means of such learning . We believe that learning is beyond the classroom!.

Karate, Yoga, Instrumental music, Dance, Art and Craft

These activities are an integral part of the curriculum. Every student should participate in two of the extracurricular activity of their choice.

Workshop for teachers

To enhance the teaching skills the teachers participate in seminars.workshops and educative programmes.

Inter House Sports and Cultural Competition

The school openly encourages healthy competition, so students can learn much more than simply ‘winning and losing’. We provide a comprehensive programme which caters for all interests and abilities, while ensuring the Kavery School community is represented with pride. All school students are expected to take part in sporting and cultural activities with respect the houses they represent, namely Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. 

Scouts and Guides/ Cubs and Bulbul

Scouting and Guiding which is an international movement, intends to inculcate in the young boys and girls spirit of loyalty, patriotism and thoughtfulness for others. Every citizen of India should be able to think clearly, take quick and proper decisions, be alert and develop an attitude to be of help to others. Under proper training and guidance right from childhood, these qualities can be nurtured in children to make them mature and responsible citizens in life.

Clubs

To build self-confidence and overall enhancement of personality, various club activities are organized fortnightly.Class I-IV: Fine Arts, Explorers, and Roots & Shoots. Class V-X : Wizards,Galaxy,Senate & Debate.

Khoj – An Art Exhibition

In the contemporary scenario, the sense of art is something beyond painting medium or craft. “Khoj” – An Art Exhibition, a participation of students from Nursery – Class X at the campus. Students of different classes showcase their talents through painting on sand paper, greeting card making,  Glass painting, best out of waste etc.It is a platform for all the students to explore their creativity. It offers opportunities to the students to exchange creative ideas among themselves.

Kindergarten in-house events

The kindergarten celebrate and enjoy various moments such as colour day, grandparents day, cap day, germination day and so forth; again learning has no boundaries!!!!.

Editorial Board

The editorial board consisting of the teachers and students work towards publishing the annual magazine “i am  blossom”. The team is called Grey Matter who are also in charge of the Notice boards around the campus which provides various information and spark learning. The annual Magazine is a chief product of the students under the supervision of staff members. Every child in Kavery school has enthusiasm, waiting to be utilized for creative performance. The magazine gives the chance to bring out best literary talents and beauty in them.
